Senior - Blake

I have to say, my latest senior shoot was different. Since I bought my AB Cybersync Wireless set, I've been experimenting with using my hot-shoe flash off camera. This is a welcome change for my assistants as this set up is much lighter. Blake is the first person I've used this on for a mainstream shoot. Thanks for being patient Blake! I was very pleased with the shoot. The ability to get light into previously unaccessible places was very nice, as was creating ideal light on a cloudy day. Also, another landmark, this shoot was entirely processed with Lightroom 2. I did use Photoshop on the black and whites (I have a system already in place), but the rest was LR2. I'll quit the tech talk now and show the pics. Thanks for reading and thanks again Blake for a great session!

Kevin's Senior Shoot

This past weekend, I was able to begin a series of shoots for my friend Kevin. He's helped me in many of my shoots by setting up the studio, holding lights and reflectors, and a multitude of other tasks. Throughout his senior year, we will be shooting in different scenarios to get different looks as the seasons progress. Thanks for your help Kevin!

NAPP Featured Image of the Week

Never did I imagine that, when I logged on to the NAPP website, I would find a picture of mine as the featured image of the week! It goes to show that if you work hard enough, somebody, somewhere will find your work and appreciate it. A special thanks goes out to Autumn for being the great model in the photo. Thanks Autumn! And thanks to everybody who keeps me practicing. Maybe I'll make it up there again some day!
